Lauren Harris, E-CYT 200 & 800-hour LMT. She trained with Frog Lotus Yoga International in 2012 at The Goddess Garden in Costa Rica. In 2015, Lauren completed a 800-hour Massage Therapy program from East West College of the Healing Arts in Oregon and now runs a private massage practice. She leads alignment-based Vinyasa flow classes steeped in reverence and informed by anatomical awareness. She strives to make each one of her classes well-balanced, immersive, and inclusive so her students can enjoy their own experience of the interconnection of body/mind/spirit/community that is Yoga.

Lauren is an experienced yoga teacher and licensed massage therapist living in the majestic valley of Ojai, California. She trained with Frog Lotus Yoga International in 2012 at The Goddess Garden in Costa Rica. Following her YTT, she worked at Suryalila Retreat Center with Vidya Heisel as farm manager and yoga teacher and has been a part of the FLY community ever since.

Having traveled worldwide studying Vipassana meditation, Buddhism, and Thai Yoga massage, Lauren has a well-rounded personal practice from which to teach. She is a philosophy student and meditation practitioner under the lineage of the late Michael Stone. In 2015, Lauren completed a 800-hour Massage Therapy program from East West College of the Healing Arts in Oregon. To add to her massage offerings, she has completed extensive Thai Yoga Massage training with Jennifer Yarro and others. She now runs a private massage practice working with a diversity of clients.

As a bhakti yogi, she interweaves chanting into her own personal practice and classes. She loves to invoke the power of mantra as an added layer and benefit to the physical practice of yoga asana for a wholistic experience.

Lauren has been teaching public yoga classes and workshops for the last 7 years as well as assisting and co-teaching FLY YTTs internationally.
