I discovered the joy and healing support of yoga twelve years ago, and have been teaching for nearly a decade. My love of yoga established new roots when I moved from Tarrytown, NY to The Berkshires and joined Frog Lotus Yoga Studio in 2008. Through my teaching and continued trainings, I deepen my connection and commitment to our beautiful studio and community.
I am blessed to live in North Adams with my husband, Michael, and our four sons. I completed her 200-hour yoga certification in the Kripalu tradition in 2007, and have recently trained under the inspiring guidance of Jennifer Yarro to receive certification as a Thai Yoga Massage practitioner.
In addition to my yoga and Thai yoga massage certifications, I am also an experienced piano instructor with a Master of Music degree from Northwestern University. I teach both piano and yoga at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.
I actively look for new and innovative methods for bringing yoga into the lives of students with physical limitations or challenges. Through a caring and nurturing approach, I guide students, regardless of age or ability, to explore yoga as an opportunity to create balance, self-awareness, and a deeper sense of well being in all areas of daily life.
I am grateful and honored to be able to share through teaching, the extraordinary practice of yoga!
